Take My Advice, Don’t Take My Advice.

Commodore JStroke – Guest Contributor

You’ve got a decision to make, right? You didn’t really ask for my advice, but I want to help, really. What do I know about your situation? Not much. At best, what I want to share is that I have been in a similar situation to you. I don’t want you to feel alone.

I may even find a roundabout way to make my square situation fit into your round circumstances. Watch out though, I could be a narcissist that wants to turn your situation into a reliving of an episode of my life. That’s not helping.

At best, comfort is about all you should take from me.

Unsolicited advice rarely provides that nugget of knowledge that makes a difference for you. I often lose perspective of the struggles in a decision sequence because I am past the trauma. So, unless the advice is “watch out for this…”, you can probably throw out my advice like a Muni Master paddle.

What I want to get across is that you need to paddle your own canoe. Your decision needs to be yours. You know your priorities, concerns, and situation. Own your decision, it will make your masculinity so intoxicating!

But don’t take my advice.

Third-generation canoeists should consider heeding this advice, might fix their T deficiency issues.
