WTH Wednesday

Sitting my cubicle, I look up to see a colleague taking a stroll on a treadmill desk. It looks as ridiculous as it sounds.

Did you see his treadmill desk? Take a walk man!

I have an idea, get up from your chair, leave your cube and take a walk. Stroll around the office, stroll around the building. Try talking to your office mate in person rather than thru email or instant message. You make like the conversation, or maybe not.

Beyond that, don’t you have better things to do with your cash? I bet you are the one who complains that the company doesn’t bring in food enough. I bet you are.

Anyway, thanks for listening.

If they have that kind of cash laying around, maybe they are being paid too much, don’t have family/kids yest? I could definitely find something better to spend my money on, like a decent bottle of bourbon and some Miller High Life’s, and still have cash to invest for the future. But, I agree, try being social, it might be scary at first but it’s kind of cool to build an actual face to face human relationship.
